Baby girl found abandoned at bus-stand

An eight-month-old baby girl was found abandonded at the new bus-stand here, police today said.

A flower vendor found the girl last evening, police said, adding, a feeding bottle was kept near her.

As no one came to claim the baby, police handed the infant over to a shelter-home run by an NGO.
