'Bakrid' in Delhi on Tuesday; no holiday on Monday

Id-ul-Zuha or Bakrid will be celebrated next Tuesday in the national capital, the Centre said today.

Earlier, the holiday on account of Id-ul-Zuha was declared for September 12.

It has been brought to the notice of Personnel Ministry that in Delhi Id-ul- Zuha (Bakrid) will be celebrated on Tuesday, September 13.

"Accordingly, it has been decided to shift the Id-ul-Zuha holiday to September 13, in place of September 12 as notified earlier, for all central government administrative offices at Delhi," an official order issued to all ministries said.
