Bandh in Ahmedabad locality over anti-Islam film

"Retail shops, eateries, auto-rickshaws among others joined the bandh. Educational institutes, however, were kept out of it," social activist Fazal Bahelim told PTI.

Local Muslim organisations had called the bandh.

There was no untoward incident, a police official said.
