Bank cashier looted of Rs 10 lakh in UP

Three motorcycle-borne assailants today robbed a bank cashier of Rs 10 lakh at Khurja town, about 20 kilometres from here, police said.
The loot occurred near the Khurja Railway Junction this evening when the cashier of Co-operative Bank in Shahpur village, Rakesh was riding on his scooter and was hit by the motorcycle-borne armed assailants, SP (Rural) Pankaj Pandey said.
Rakesh fell on the road, following which the men fled with the bag containing cash, he said.
The money was being carried from Shahpur Branch of Bank to the head office at Khurja town.
