Three persons, including a bank manager, were killed today when their car fell into Alaknanda river in Rudraparayag district.
25-year-old Rahul, who worked as the Manager of Punjab National Bank's Ratuda Branch, a bank customer and his friend were killed when their car fell into Alaknanda river, police said.
They were going from Ratuda to Gholteer when the car met with the accident last night around 11 PM, they said, adding that the bodies have been recovered and efforts are on to pull the car out of the river.

The bank manager was a resident of Meerut, while the other two were locals.
Chief Minister Harish Rawat has expressed grief at the loss of lives in the accident.
