Bathing banned in Coutralam falls

Tourists have been banned from taking bath in the famous Coutralam water falls as heavy rains lashed Western Ghat areas in and around the district since last night.

The rains caused floods in the water falls besides inundating several parts of Tenkasi and surrounding areas, officials said today.
