Cornered on all fronts, beleaguered Cricket Board president N Srinivasan has convened an emergency meeting of the cricket body's working committee next week but the date and time will be known tomorrow.
"In consultation with office bearers the president has decided to call for a working committee meeting next week. The date and time will be informed tomorrow," BCCI's general manager for game development, Prof Ratnakar Shetty, told reporters here today.
Srinivasan has been under fire from several quarters, including from BCCI's units, after his son-in-law and IPL franchise Chennai Super Kings owner Gurunath Meiyappan was arrested by Mumbai Police for alleged links with bookies.
