Congress leader Sachin Pilot today said urged the Centre and Rajasthan governments to be "sensitive" on the issue of 88 Pakistani Hindus who have refused to return to their country.

"The BJP governments (state and Central) should consider the demand of 88 Pakistani Hindus who have come on Indian visa for pilgrimage, for permanent stay in India, on humanitarian ground," Pilot told reporters here.

As many as 88 members of six Hindu families from Pakistan who had come to India on pilgrim visas have refused to return.

When reminded that BJP had, in its poll manifesto, promised to rehabilitate Hindus from Pakistan, if required, Pilot said the party of Hindutva should follow its protocol of accepting such deprived Hindus.
