Light rainfall occurred at one or two places in Bihar today, the MeT Department said.
While light to moderate rainfall occurred at one or two places in north east and south east parts of the state, the remaining parts witnessed dry weather, it said, adding heavy rainfall occurred at one or two places in north east parts of Bihar.
Among the four major cities, only Purnea received a rainfall of 5.4 mm today (8.30 AM to 5.30 PM), while Patna, Gaya and Bhagalpur received no rainfall yesterday and today, the MeT office said.

Patna was the hottest place in the state with a maximum temperature of 35.6 degrees Celsius, followed by 34.3 degrees Celsius each at Gaya and Purnea, the MeT office said.
In its forecast for the next 24 hours, the MeT office said it would be partly cloudy sky with possibility of rain or thunder or duststorm in Patna, Gaya and Bhagalpur, while Purnea may witness generally cloudy sky with light rain.
Humidity was recorded at 87 per cent in Purnea. It was 79 per cent in Patna and 74 per cent each in Bhagalpur and Gaya.
