Bihar Governor appoints three new VCs

Bihar Governor and Chancellor of Universities Ramnath Kovind today appointed three new Vice Chancellors of different institutions.

S K Singh was appointed as the new VC of Lalit Narayan Mithila University Darbhanga, a Raj Bhawan statement said here.

Nalini Kant Jha was made the new VC of Tilka Manjhi Bhagalpur University at Bhagalpur.

Kaimer Ahsan was made the VC of Magadh University, Bodh Gaya, the statement said.

The appointments were made after interaction with names short-listed by a search committee.

The term of the newly appointed VCs would be three years from date of assuming office, the statement added.
