BJP MLA shot at

today by two motorcycle-bourne assailants who fired at him in front of his house, police said.

The assailants fired shots at MLA Sangeet Som when he was walking in front of his house here, they said.

Som was rushed to hospital where his condition was stated to be stable, they said.

A case has been lodged against two unidentified persons and probe is on, they said.
