BJP wins first two Assembly seats in MP

At Sohagpur in Hoshangabad district, Vijaypal Singh of BJP trounced Congress nominee Ranveer Singh Galcha by 28,891 votes

The ruling BJP won the first two Assembly seats in Madhya Pradesh Assembly whose results have been announced.

BJP candidate Ramesh Dubey defeated Choudhary Gambheer Singh of Congress by a margin of 13,631 in Chaurai, Chhindwara district. Dubey polled 70,810 votes as against Singh's 57,179.

At Sohagpur in Hoshangabad district, Vijaypal Singh of BJP trounced Congress nominee Ranveer Singh Galcha by 28,891 votes.

Vijaypal secured 92,859 votes and Galcha 63,968.
