BKU members gherao collectorate for nineth day in UP

Bhartiya Kisan Union (BKU) members today gheraoed the collectorate here for the nineth day in protest against the state government for allegedly not clearing pending dues of sugarcane farmers.

BKU president Naresh Tikait said here last evening that they will continue their agitation at the DM's office till their demands are not fulfilled.

The protesters are demanding from the Samajwadi party government to clear the previous years' pending dues and fix the sugarcane price for this season.
