BKU to hold demonstrations against land ordinance

The Bhartiya Kisan Union (BKU) today announced they will stage demonstrations in protest against the Centre's decision to change the Land Acquisition Act, saying the ordinance is "anti-farmer".
We will protest at every district headquarter on January 7 against the policy of the Centre regarding land acquisition, BKU national spokesman Choudhry Rakesh Tikait said.
The group said the issued ordinance is "in favour of industrialists and is purely anti-farmer."
