Bodies of a couple recovered in UP

The bodies of a young couple was recovered from river Yamuna near Sonwara village here this afternoon, police said.

On information received from the locals, we recovered the bodies whose hands were tied with each other in Kotwali Sadar police station area, SSP Manjil Saini said.

Prima facie, it appears that they had committed suicide few days back, he said, adding that further investigations are underway.

Efforts are also on to identify the bodies, the SSP added.
