Body of a seven-year-old girl, missing since last two days, was found in a drain here in Bajariya area, police said today.
The victim, a student of Class I, went missing from her home on June 15, they said.
The family had filed a missing complaint at Bajariya Police Station here.
The body of the girl was spotted by some neighbours near a drain yesterday.
Police suspect that the minor was first raped and later murdered, Sisamau circle officer Akhilesh Singh said, adding it will be clear only after the postmortem report.
