Body with injury marks found

The body of a man with an injury mark on his head was found from near Gazipur Sabzi Mandi on Saturday, police said.

A patrolling team found the body around 8.30 am, they said.

The body is yet to be identified, the police said, adding the man had a tattoo on his hand.

The police are trying to identify the deceased, they said, adding a case under sections 302 (causing disappearance of evidence of offence) and 201 (causing disappearance of evidence of offence) of the Indian Penal Code has been registered.
