Bollywood actors inaugurate boating club at Gangapur Dam

Bollywood actors Salman Khan and Sunil Shetty inaugurated a boating club at Gangapur Dam premises in the presence of Maharashtra Public Works Department Minister Chhagan Bhujbal and his son Sameer Bhujbal who is an NCP MP, as well as state water resources minister Sunil Tatkare.

However, nature lovers from Nashik and other parts of the state have opposed the project, since Gangpur Dam, which is also the main source of water for Nashik city is likely to get polluted due to the boating club, and also disturb the migration of various species of birds, local nature club sources said.
