Both Houses of UP legislature adjourned sine die

Both the houses of Uttar Pradesh Legislative were today adjourned sine die after passing the annual budget and bills, including one to hike the pension and local area allowance of the MLAs.

The session, which commenced on February 18, adjourned sine die, Principal Secretary, Legislative Assembly, Pradeep Kumar Dubey said.

Besides general budget, various bills including the Appropriation Bill, Uttar Pradesh Nagar Nigam amendment Bill 2015 were also passed during the session.

In Legislative Council Chairman Ganesh Shanker Pandey thanked Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav, members of the ruling and opposition parties for smooth conduct of the upper house.
