Bovine smuggler held

Police today arrested a bovine

smuggler and rescued 11 bovines in Doda district of Jammu and Kashmir.

Acting on a tip-off, a police team intercepted Gulam Hussain, Jaan Mohd and Asgar Ali of Marmat Tehsil and rescued 11 bovines from them at Gular Nallah Muthi Marmat, an official said.

A case has been registered and further probe was on in the matter, police said.
