Boy jumps before traini

A 17-year-old boy today allegedly committed suicide by jumping before a passenger train bound for Mayiladuthrai from Tiruvarur near Nannilam here, police said.

The boy was studying at a private polytechnic institute.

The reason for the suicide is not known.
