Boy, minor sister drown in Ganga

A twenty-year-old youth and his minor sister today drowned in Ganga river in Hathgawan area, police said here.

Tushar (20) and sister Shivangi (15) drowned when they slipped into deep water while taking bath in Ganga river at Haudeshwarnath dhaam, it said.

Police said that efforts were made to rescue the duo, but they could not be saved.

The bodies were fished out and sent for post-mortem, they said.
