BSES to snap power supply to some industrial units

The power distribution company had asked the industrial units to submit valid license to continue supplying power to them.

As most of the industrial units failed to comply with the directive, the discom has decided to snap power supply to the units, said an official of BYPL.

The official alleged most of the industries in Mandoli and G T Road area have been operating illegally.

"These illegal industries are resorting to theft of electricity to avoid payments of various taxes and duties to govt," said the official.
