BSF keeping tight vigil along IB

The Border Security Force (BSF) is keeping tight vigil in the riverine areas along the International Border (IB) in view of intelligence inputs about possible attacks by Border Action Team of Pakistan.

"The guard is up. Troops are alert. A high degree of vigil is being kept on the movement along the border," a senior BSF official said.

Asked about intelligence inputs about possible BAT attacks post surgical strikes by the Army in PoK, he said, "Such reports keep coming. Such a threat is always there along the IB. We are keeping a close watch."

"Patrolling has been intensified. The security set up has been strengthened in the riverine areas," he said.
