Burnt body of woman found in suitcase

The partially burnt body of a young woman was today found inside a suitcase near a vegetable market, 37 km from here, police said.

The woman, aged between 20 to 24 years, was murdered somewhere and her body was burnt using petrol before being packed in a suitcase and brought here today by unidentified persons, police Inspector A Karunanidhi said.

About 80 per cent of the body was burnt, he said.
