A state transport bus caught fire after a two-wheeler rammed into it this morning near here, but all 28 passengers escaped unhurt, police and eyewitnesses said.
However, the two-wheeler rider was injured and shifted to a Government hospital for treatment, they said.
The incident took place at Chowdamma Gutta near Shadnagar town of this district of Telangana.

The bus, belonging to Road Transport Corporation (RTC), Shadnagar depot was on its way to Mahabubnagar with 28 passengers. When it reached Chowdamma Gutta, one two-wheeler crashed into it. The petrol tank of the two-wheeler burst and caught fire which soon engulfed the bus, police said, quoting eyewitnesses.
The bus driver and passengers, however, managed to come out in time unhurt, they added.
