Bus fare to be slashed by 4 paisa per km in Punjab

Punjab government today announced to slash bus fare by 4 paisa per km from tomorrow in the state.

An official spokesperson said as per the notification issued by the State Transport Department, bus fare has been reduced from 91 to 87 paisa per passenger per kilometer.

The decreased bus fares would be applicable from October 1, he said.
