Two jawans of Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) were injured in a landmine blast in the insurgency-hit Bijapur district in Chhattisgarh today.

They were identified as Dilip Kumar (from Bihar) and Krishna Mohan (from Punjab) of 168th Battalion of CRPF. Both have been hospitalised.

The blast occurred when the CRPF personnel reached Durga temple between Timmapur and Murdanda villages during patrolling.
