Call off strike: Pb govt appeals to state roadways employees

Assuring them of looking into their demands sympathetically, Punjab Transport Minister Ajit Singh Kohar today appealed to the employees of the state roadways to withdraw their strike.

Contractual employees of Punjab Roadways and Punbus have been on strike demanding raise in salary for the last one month.

Kohar said he would take up the matter with Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal for a positive outcome.
