In a hit and run case, Cameraman
of a local TV channel 'World View' was killed and another injured by a train in upper Assam's Jorhat district today, police sources said.
The cameraman identified as Biman Borah (21) was killed and another person, Dhurba Borah got hurt when 2068 down Jan Sattabdi Express hit them when they tried to cross the unmanned railway crossing in front of the Jorhat DTO office, the sources and eye witnesses said.
The Press Club of Jorhat, North-West Journalist Association, North Jorhat Journalist Association, Mariani Press Club, Titabor Press Club and others have condoled the death of Biman who was associated with the TV channel for the past three years.
