Thanks to two "honest" Delhi cops, a Canadian tourist was in for a surprise when he recently got back his waist-pouch containing foreign currency valued at Rs 6,500 which he had lost a month back at the IGI airport here.
While patrolling around arrival terminal of the Delhi Airport, police constables Hanuman and Om Prakash found the waist-pouch containing Euro 500 and USD 342 near a prepaid booth, said DCP of IGI airport Dinesh Kumar Gupta.
The pouch also contained some documents that revealed the pouch belonged to Canadian national Charles Richard Blake.

All efforts were made to find Blake but he was untraceable, following which his pouch was deposited at the IGI police station.
Blake finally approached the police and his pouch was returned to him after completion of formalities.
"He expressed his pleasure and appreciated the sincere efforts made by the police to locate him and handover his lost item," the officer said.
