Carcasses of four elephants recovered

The carcasses were spotted near Domuhani nala under Ghudurucampa range in the sanctuary yesterday, Similipal Tiger Reserve Deputy Director Bikash Ranjan Das said.

It is suspected that the elephants were poisoned by some poachers who had apparently tried to bury the bodies and cover them with dry leaves, he said.
