Cardamom up 1.1% on rising demand
Spice for delivery in February contract gained 1.10%

Rising for the third straight day, cardamom prices advanced by 1.13% to Rs 1,010 per kg in futures trade today on the back of rising demand in spot markets.
At the Multi Commodity Exchange, cardamom for delivery in January moved up by Rs 11.30, or 1.13% to Rs 1,010.00 per kg in business turnover of 229 lots.
In a similar fashion, the spice for delivery in February contract gained Rs 11.40, or 1.10% to Rs 1,045.00 per kg in 82 lots.
Analysts said besides rising demand in the spot market, tight supplies from producing regions, mainly kept cardamom prices higher at futures trade.
