Cardamom futures fell by 0.55 per cent to Rs 1,350.60 per kg today as traders trimmed their holdings amid sluggish spot demand.
Besides, adequate stocks position following increased arrivals from producing regions also fuelled the downtrend.
At the Multi Commodity Exchange, cardamom for delivery in January 2017 eased by Rs 7.40, or 0.55 per cent, to Rs 1,350.60 per kg, in a business turnover of 20 lots.

The spice for delivery in February 2017 was trading down by Rs 4.40, or 0.32 per cent, to Rs 1,372 per kg, with a trading volume of six lots.
Analysts said offloading of positions by participants owing to a weak trend at spot market on subdued demand mainly put pressure on cardamom prices at futures trade.
