Press Trust of India  |  New Delhi

prices were up by 1.59 per cent at Rs 910 per kg in futures trade today as participants built up fresh positions, taking positive cues from the spot market on good demand.

Besides, tight stocks position on fall in arrivals from growing regions, too, supported the upside.

At the Multi Commodity Exchange, for delivery in June rose by Rs 14.20, or 1.59 per cent, to Rs 910 per kg in a business turnover of 46 lots.

Likewise, the spice for delivery in July contracts was trading higher by Rs 10, or 1.14 per cent, to Rs 891 per kg in 4 lots.
