A need to digitalise manuscripts of Unani medicine and adopt modern technologies to preserve and propagate this knowledge were underlined at a national conference of Central Council for Research in Unani Medicine (CCRUM) here.
Inaugurating the conference, the Director General of CCRUM said that the knowledge and information on Unani medicine are preserved in the manuscripts of libararies in different parts of the country and it is the need of the hour to propagate them and make them accessible to the researchers and doctors.
He also stressed the need to digitalise the manuscripts noting that the Council has already digitalised some of them.

Three technical sessions were organised at the conference in which 36 papers were presented, a release by CCRUM said.
