The comprehensive land survey taken up by Telangana has been appreciated by a Central government official, the state government said today.
Hukum Singh Meena, Joint Secretary, Department of Land resources, today said the Centre would extend all its support to the exercise, according to a release from the Chief Minister's office.
Meena met Chef Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao along with a team of officials and discussed land survey in the state, the release said.

Rao told the official that such a survey has not been done in the region after 1932-36.
The survey would help resolve land disputes and also help in the implementation of monetary assistance scheme proposes to be implemented by state government for the benefit of farmers, Rao said.
The state government would send a detailed project report on the land survey to the Centre, Rao told the Central official, the release added.
