To review poll preparedness, five special teams lead by Chief Electoral Officers (CEOs) of different states will visit different districts of West Bengal, starting from tomorrow.
"The Election Commission has deputed five special teams to undertake comprehensive review of poll preparedness. They will visit different districts and get a first-hand assessment of various arrangements made by each Assembly constituency," Additional Chief Electoral Officer Dibyendu Sarkar said.
The teams will submit their report on March 23, he said.

Each of the five teams will have five members comprising CEO of a state, a joint or deputy CEO, an IPS officer and two election commission officers, Sarkar said.
So far 98 candidates have filed their nomination papers for the first part of the first phase of polling on April 4. For the second part, 40 candidates have filed their papers.
