Chhath Puja observed in Jharkhand

Devotees in Jharkhand today congregated near river banks, lakes and water bodies to offer "arghya" to the setting Sun on the occasion of Chhath festival.

The four-day festival will end with "arghya" to the rising Sun tomorrow.

Devotees lined up on both the banks across river Koel in Medininagar, the headquarter town of Palamau district, with adjoining villagers congregating near the banks.
