Chief Pontiff offers worship at shrine

The Chief Pontiff of Srirangam Srimath Andavan Ashramam, Sri Ranga Ramanuja Mahadesikan, offered worship at the Lord Venkateswara temple near here today.

On arrival at the shrine, the chief pontiff was accorded a traditional reception with full temple honours, temple sources said.

Temple priests and top officials accompanied the pontiff, sources said.
