Child killed as fire breaks out in house

A child was killed and two members of a family were critically injured when a fire broke out in their house at Kherikarmu village in Shamli district.

Police said the incident took place last night when the family was sleeping in the house.

A two-year-old girl died on the spot while two others were rushed to a Delhi hospital in a critical condition.

The cause of the fire is yet to be ascertained.
