It was another chilly morning in Delhi today but the mercury soared as the day progressed settling at normal level, even as cold wind swept across the city.
The sun shone bright through the day and the maximum temperature settled at 22.6 degrees Celsius, two notches more than yesterday's maximum.
The minimum settled at 9.6 degrees Celsius, a notch above the season's average and two notches below yesterday's low of 11.3 degrees Celsius, MeT department officials said.

The humidity in air was recorded between 97 and 26 per cent.
There was moderate fog in the morning as the visibility was recorded at 500 metres at 5.30 AM and 8.30 AM which improved significantly to 3,000 metres at 11.30 AM.
According to a Northern Railway official, around 24 north -bound trains were running behind schedule due to dense fog in morning hours.
"The sky will be clear tomorrow with moderate fog in the morning. The maximum and minimum temperatures are likely to hover at 22 and 8 degrees Celsius, respectively," according to the MeT forecast.
