Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan's eldest son Kartikeya Chouhan would campaign for the BJP in the upcoming assembly elections in the state.
Kartikeya Chouhan, who arrived here to take part in a rally of the Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM), the BJP's youth wing, said, "I will campaign for the BJP."
However, the 25-year-old said he has not yet decided on how many assembly seats he would campaign for the party, which will be seeking a record fourth consecutive term in office in the year-end elections.
Madhya Pradesh has a 230-member assembly.
"I have come here to take part in the BJYM rally. We will tell people about the welfare policies pursued by the BJP government in the state," he said.
He said development will be the BJP's main poll plank.
"We will go to people on the issue of development as the BJP never engages in politics of mudslinging," Kartikeya Chouhan said.
"The youth wing of the party has hit the streets to inform people about the government's policies and development agenda," he added.
