CISF apprehends man with satellite phone at IGI airport

A Bengaluru-bound passenger has been apprehended by the CISF at the IGI airport here for allegedly carrying an unauthorised satellite phone in his luggage, a senior official said today.

T Sharma, who has an Indian passport, was apprehended by Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) personnel late yesterday after the phone was detected in his baggage, he said.

The man was handed over to the Delhi Police as carrying a satellite phone is banned under law, the official said.
