Clarke wins toss, decides to bat against Sri Lanka

Brings in all-rounder Shane Watson and spinner Xavier Doherty in place of Mitchell Marsh and Josh Hazelwood

Australia skipper Michael Clarke won the toss and elected to bat against Sri Lanka in a Pool A cricket World Cup match, here today.

The hosts have made two changes to their side, including all-rounder Shane Watson and spinner Xavier Doherty in place of Mitchell Marsh and Josh Hazelwood.

Sri Lanka have also made a lot of changes to their side. They have brought in Seekkuge Prasanna, Upul Tharanga and Sachithra Senanayake in place of injured Dimuth Karunaratne and Rangana Herath and Suranga Lakmal.

Teams:

Australia: Michael Clarke (C), Aaron Finch, David Warner, Shane Watson, Steven Smith, Glenn Maxwell, James Faulkner, Brad Haddin, Mitchell Johnson, Mitchell Starc and Xavier Doherty.
 

Sri Lanka: Angelo Mathews (C), Lahiru Thirimanne, Tillakaratne Dilshan, Kumar Sangakkara, Mahela Jayawardene, Dinesh Chandimal, Upul Tharanga, Thisara Perera, Seekkuge Prasanna, Sachithra Senanayake and Lasith Malinga.
