In another gruesome rape of a minor girl, a Class 11 student was allegedly raped by three persons, including a classmate and a relative, in a moving car in Noida last week, police said.
Police swung into action after an FIR was lodged yesterday and arrested one of the accused today. The two other accused are on the run.
The case follows a string of incidents of rape of minor girls in several parts of the country that triggered a nationwide outrage, prompting the government to bring in an ordinance for stricter punishment for such crimes.
