Clean India campaign at DSP Office

As part of the Swachh Bharat Campaign, District Police in association with Coimbatore District Home Guards, today undertook cleaning of DSP office and police station campus at Periyanaickenpalayam, on the outskirts.

Some 180 volunteers, including faculty members and students from Ramakrishna Mission Vidyalaya and CMS College of Science and Commerce, participated in the campaign, which was inaugurated by M Ravishankar, DSP, Periyanaickenpalayam, jointly with Balaji Raju, Area Commander of Coimbatore District Home Guards, police said.

Inspector S Vetriventhan thanked volunteers for cleaning the campus in an area of 1.5 acre, in five hours,particularly on Sunday.
