Clerk found hanging in local court room

A 30-year-old clerk was found hanging from the ceiling fan of his room in a local court here today, police said.

The deceased has been identified as Gur Sahab Singh. On noticing, Singh hanging in his room, the court employees broke open the door. They also informed the local police, they said.

The body has been sent to local civil hospital for postmortem and investigations were under way, police said.
