Veteran singer Cliff Richard has signed a new record deal with Sony Music.
The 75-year-old singer is planning a musical comeback and is hoping for the Christmas number one, reported Mirror.
Sony is thrilled to join hands with Richard and have called him "a true legend of the British music industry".
The "Living Doll" singer is also planning a tour for next year.
The news comes after Richard's friend, former Radio 1 DJ Mike Read, revealed that he put album plans on hold when he was accused of sexual abuse. Recently the case against him was dropped due to insufficient evidence.
