CM launches d'bution of festival gift coupons to ex-servicemen

: Chief Minister N Rangasamy today launched distribution of festival gift coupons benefitting 669 ex-servicemen and also 474 widows of ex-servicemen under a scheme of the Department of Sainik Welfare.

Each of the beneficiaries was given the coupon for a sum of Rs 3,000 and government would incur an expenditure of Rs 3000, a release from office of the Chief Minister said.
